So we decided to grow the team and invited Tim Grummell (Timmay!) a spot during the week. Tim accepted, probably due to the huge salary we offer our riders this season (a packet of Hobnobs OR Jaffa cakes).
The team then headed to Timahoe today with the aim of improving our already impressive whipping and scrubbing but after a long practice session Tim came down off the bigass tabletop pretty hard and broke his Humerus. Off in the car with the flashy lights for Tim!
Doesn’t matter how much I try to make it funny though, it isn’t. Tim was riding really well and fast and was definitely headed for a top position in the MX2 C’s this year. All put to a stop by some annoying ruts at the bottom of a jump.
Tim is supposed to go into surgery tomorrow to get his arm pinned and plated. We wish him a quick recovery and hope we get to see him out with us again soon.
Looks like the FRO brace made a short stop on the market.

Magura show and explain their hydraulic clutch system (for all bikes, definitely an interesting product if the price is right!) as well as their rear brake system:
There are a lot more over on VitalMX. Most of the videos I skipped were on gear, tires, exhausts, oils and goggles but you can head over there and check them out if you’re not totally fed up with the girls saying “Welcome to the show” at this point!
